What Are The Current Effective Link Building Techniques?

Link building generally improves the search engine rankings of the sites but many seasoned SEOs fail to understand the other important advantages of links, like building a strong brand company and generating transactions and conversions. The following are some current effective link building strategy.

  1. Content Marketing – Creating lots of high quality, viral, educational or entertaining content on a regular basis, a website will have more opportunities to confine inbound links. This is the easiest link building techniques.
  2.  Guest Blog Posts – Inviting others to guest post will promote the original content to others in social media and on the web properties resulting in inbound link building for the publishing blog.
  3.  Local Directory Listings – Always includes company websites on Google, Bing and Yahoo’s local directory. Submitting to Localeze.com is a good idea. These are powerful brand signals and links for the search engines.
  4.  Social Profiles – Create a LinkedIn profile and make sure employees’ profiles link to it. Namechk.com can be used to set up the company’s social media profiles. Google reserves the right to follow an un-followed link building and social signals account for a website’s ability to rank.
  5.  Partnerships - Strategically collaborate with similar companies and share links and content is an easy way for link building.
  6.  Client and Vendor Sites – Ask clients for links if practical. A good way to request links from vendors is to offer up a testimonial for their website. It must include a link.
  7.  National Directories - Submit the appropriate web properties to dir.yahoo.com, dmoz.org and other links. Make sure to solicit a listing containing a link in their online listing or website if linked with any national organizations.
  8.  Product Reviews & Interviews - Give away free products or services to bloggers in exchange for reviews. Ask for interviews from bloggers. Bloggers who publish interviews always link to the customer’s website.
